Lady Gaga finds her inner Marilyn for Tony Bennet
Well, this is definitely cooler than going to Chuck E. Cheese and having a giant mouse sing you happy birthday. A fan of music from all genres, Lady Gaga paid tribute to the great Tony Bennett this week and sent the crooner a video of Mother Monster singing happy birthday. This year Bennett is celebrating his 85th birthday.
Showing no signs of slowing down, Bennett has put the finishing touches on his DUETS II album, featuring Aretha Franklin, Lady Gaga, Michael Buble, k.d. Lang, Sheryl Crow, Mariah Carey, Andre Bocelli, Queen Latifah, Willie Nelson, and the late Amy Winehouse. DUETS was released five years ago on Bennett’s 80th birthday.
DUETS II is now available on iTunes.
