Lady Gaga is set to take her Born This Way Foundation on the road

Lady Gaga announced Thursday that she is setting out on a Born Brave Bus Tour alongside her 2013 US shows, providing the opportunity for 13 to 25 year olds to learn more about who they can turn to regarding anti-bullying, mental health or suicide prevention. Gaga, 26, has also gained the help of organisations such as Campus Pride, The Trevor Project and the National Association of School Psychologists to assist any problems visitors have.

In order to make the bus available to everyone, those wanting to take part will not need a ticket to the show to gain entry. The eccentric singer received the LennonOno Grant For Peace award in October, a biennial award in memory of late Beatles musician John Lennon, from Yoko Ono, however Gaga decided to donate the prestigious prize to Sir Elton John’s AIDS charity.

Speaking at the ceremony in Reykjavik, Iceland, she announced “I will be donating this grant to the Elton John Aids Foundation and I will be working closely with them to ensure that the money goes specifically to those orphaned and disadvantaged youth in America born with HIV or AIDS.I dare you to be compassionate in a cynical age.”
