Ke$ha is a Crazy Kid in new video

Ke$ha has released the latest video from her second album Warrior and we can’t get enough! Crazy Kids is like an adventure into a fantasy world where we’re all invited to a mini lazy Sunday house party at Ke$ha’s place, complete with older Hell Angels guys and ghetto fabulous hair. Speaking of hair, we can’t get enough of Ke$ha’s cornrows. Talk about crazy (PS: We love it). will.i.am also dazzles as he makes an appearance on the track and video. We kinda want his space suit!

will.i.am goes out with a bang in new video

will.i.am has released his video for Bang Bang and we can’t get enough! The track was featured on The Great Gatsby soundtrack and on his album #willpower. The track is heavily influenced by the sound of the roaring twenties with a ton of trumpets and horns to accompany will’s next-level vocals. The video was shot with a soft monotone filter and had a vintage feel (yet still so 3013, y’know?).

Did anyone buy will.i.am’s album? No one?

So, will.i.am’s album did poorly this week with only selling about 29,000 albums. I mean, it wasn’t going to do anything near Justin Timberlake’s album The 20/20 Experience which sold almost 100,000, but you’d think with pop stars featured on #willpower it would have done better. The Biebs is on this album. Scream & Shout featuring the princess of pop is on this album. will.i.am even had the Pussycat Doll, Nicole Scherzinger, on a track. But I guess I can’t be surprised. will.i.am’s last solo (yep, he has another solo album before this) effort only sold 21,000 records.

That’s okay kids, will.i.am will be okay. He has his Dick Tracy car. #sadface

Justin Bieber and Will.i.Am release video for #ThatPower

Will.i.Am has released a video for his collaboration with Justin Bieber on the dance track Power. The new song is the third single from Will.i.Am’s album, #Willpower, which also features guest appearances from Miley Cyrus, Skylar Grey, Nichole Scherzinger and Britney Spears, who appeared with the Black Eyed Peas front man on Scream and Shout.

The futuristic video features Will.i.Am performing with a group of dancers wearing matching outfits that I think are best described as what a traditional Amish man may wear in the year 2050. It appears that the production team may have blown their budget on the broad rims hats instead of getting shooting permits, with pedestrians sticking out like a sore thumb in the background throughout the video. This is especially evident when Will and his back up dances begin to move in slow motion, while people walk at a normal speed behind them. I’d like to think they’re making fun of themselves, but I don’t think anyone that earnestly adds a hashtag to their album title is big on self-deprecating humour.

For his part, Bieber appears as a hologram, which seems like a contradiction to the line “I’m alive, I’m alive, I’m alive”, which the singer repeats throughout the chorus. A box containing Justin’s hologram is the focus of the video, with Will and his dancers travelling the globe to deliver the goods to another slow-moving dance team.

Well, at least there are some super sweet cars to look at.

will.i.am and Justin Bieber are a Power couple

will.i.am and Justin Bieber have dropped their soon to be monster track The Power and it is exploding on the internet. will.i.am and Justin collaborated on the song for will.i.am‘s upcoming album #willpower due out in stores on April 9. For those of you who enjoyed Scream & Shout featuring Britney Spears will love this track because it has the same pounding club beat vibe and is kinda uplifting in its message: what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.
