Nelly Furtado aims to inspire with new track Bucket List

Fresh off her Spirit Indestructible Canadian tour, Nelly Furtado has released another single from her 2012 disc, rounding out an impressive catalog of radio hits including Big Hoops, Parking Lot, Spirit Indestructible and Waiting For The Night. Furtado’s latest track, Bucket List, maintains the theme of positivity that has been present on all four singles.

The video focuses on five friends running around New York City, while acting out a small handful of the lyrics. Furtado’s voice introduces the video, with a spoken word segment that borrows bucket list items from the actual song. Furtado is seen throughout in the video in a close-up shot as she performs her latest track.

Nelly Furtado celebrates Day of the Dead in Waiting For The Night

Nelly Furtado has released the fourth single from her 2012 disc The Spirit Indestructible with the sombre dance track Waiting For The Night. In true Furtado fashion, the new song doesn’t sound like any of the Canadian singer’s previous singles from the album, which includes Big Hoops (The Bigger The Better) and Parking Lot.

Waiting For The Night is reminiscent of a track from Furtado’s 2003 Folklore, with a surprise break down in the last 30 seconds that may have been better served as the main beat for the track. Donning a day of the dead mask, Furtado and her army of female dancers perform a Spanish-inspired dance routine in the black and white video.
