After narrowly escaping a warrant being issued for her arrest by splashing out on a last minute first class flight from New York to Los Angeles to appear in court on Wednesday, Lindsay Lohan has decided to move in with her mom. While this would normally be a great idea for someone who is having trouble staying on the right side of the law, Lindsay’s mother is Dina Lohan. So ya, she’s better off on her own.

A source close to the 26-year-old troubled starlet, who wore a Chanel dress and Christian Louboutin shoes to court, told gossip website RadarOnline.com that Lindsay is struggling to cope living in such close quarters with her mother again, saying “Dina seriously cramps Lindsay’s style because she always wants to go out partying with her. It’s embarrassing for Lindsay and she often dodges her mom’s calls when she’s out. Lindsay is constantly on the prowl these days to snag a new wealthy pal who has an apartment or vacation home she can move into…. rent free of course!”

Number one, why is Lindsay partying at all? Number two, someone needs to give her a hug and a game plan, because what she’s been lately isn’t working. Have you seen Mean Girls lately? So good. Soooo good. Get back there, Lindsay.

Lindsay Lohan reportedly owes her former attorney $300,000 in unpaid legal fees. The troubled actress recently fired Shawn Holley and replaced her with New York based lawyer Mark Heller, but Lohan is said to owe a substantial sum to Shawn.

A source told RadarOnline “Lindsay owes Shawn over $300k in legal fees and she hasn’t made any payments to her in over six months. Lindsay hadn’t paid anything for any of the work Shawn has done on her three new criminal charges of lying to cops, in connection with her car accident in Santa Monica last summer. Shawn has kept Lindsay out of jail for over five years now and she has no idea how good she has had it. Shawn is extremely respected by judges and prosecutors and that has benefited Lindsay greatly. Lindsay’s new criminal attorney, Mark Heller, isn’t even based in Los Angeles and certainly doesn’t have the revered reputation that Shawn does.”

It is rumoured that the actress, who recently received money from Charlie Sheen to pay her tax bill, may not be paying her new lawyer. The insider added “I suspect that Lindsay’s new attorney is either representing her for a reduced fee, or not charging her at all. I think Mark wants the publicity that representing Lindsay Lohan can bring.”

Lindsay Lohan has jetted to London for a low key New Year’s Eve. The actress, who is set to appear in court on January 15, 2013 after her probation was revoked earlier this month because she allegedly lied to police about being behind the wheel of a car crash in June, was spotted checking into the plush hotel The Dorchester in an expensive fur coat earlier on Saturday.

According to gossip website TMZ.com, the 26-year-old actress wants to start next year off on a better note by avoiding the party scene in favour of a more low key celebration with close friends. The troubled starlet, who has previously enjoyed New Year’s Eve celebrations in Italy and St. Barts, has reportedly told friends she wants to stay home and plans to completely abstain from alcohol. She is instead planning a small, quiet dinner and wants to be tucked up in bed well before midnight. Her latest love interest, British singer Max George from The Wanted, is due to spend New Year’s Eve in New York where his band are performing.

Things just keep getting worse for Lindsay Lohan. The actress is reportedly facing up to eight months in jail if her probation is revoked in court this morning as a result of her car crash in June, in which she is accused of lying to police about being the driver. The case is set to begin today and could result in Lohan being sentenced to 245 days behind bars.

Law enforcement sources told gossip website TMZ.com that the Los Angeles City Attorney is “out for blood” and they will file papers on Wednesday asking that Lindsay’s probation be revoked. They expect the 26-year-old troubled actress to be formally charged with lying and reckless driving tomorrow, after which the judge is likely to revoke her probation relating to her prior jewelry theft and set a date for a hearing to decide if she violated her probation by breaking the law again.

The insider suggested that the hearing will take place at the same time the actress stands trial on the criminal charges, and that even if she is found not guilty in the criminal case, the judge can still rule that she violated her probation.

Lindsay has been on probation since being found guilty of stealing a necklace in July 2011, for which she was sentenced to 120 days in prison and 480 hours of community service. The actress is reportedly in the UK with her new love interest Max George from The Wanted, and is not legally required to attend today’s hearing.
