An new track from Ke$ha leaked online today and shows a much darker side to the glitter-fueled pop singer. Vampire features more of Ke$ha’s vocals than her usual singles, which tend to lean on the popstar’s brand of talk/rap. The sexual song shows a softer side to Ke$ha, with lyrics like “Lacey curtains on my window flutter in the wind / When the room gets icy cold I know you’re coming in / My heart pounds anticipating loving you again / When I feel your snow white fingers touching on my skin”. Saucy stuff.
The ominous trance track isn’t from Ke$ha’s latest release, Warrior, which begs the question – are we getting a new album from Ke$ha this year? The brash singer is definitely staying current in 2013 with a MTV documentary series, My Beautiful Crazy Life, set to air this April.

We all have danced to Ke$ha’s hit song Die Young and it’s reported that another one of our fave bands, fun., had a hand in making the track that much better! In an interview with The Huffington Post, it was pointed out that lead singer Nate Ruess was one of five songwriters listed on the track. When asked how the collaboration over Die Young come about, Nate replied, “I just wrote the hook and I wrote it for something else, and then a couple of producers got a hold of it and worked on the rest with her. I was not involved in anything other than the (hook). Somewhere around the world there’s me singing that chorus.” We wonder if we could get our hands on that chorus!

It’s magical. It’s glittery. It’s dirty. It doesn’t really make sense. All the things we love about Ke$ha are packed into her latest video with C’Mon. Today the singer takes us behind the lens on the making of her video for C’Mon, Ke$ha’s second single from her 2012 sophomore disc Warrior.
The video begins with Ke$ha giving her best Daisy Duke impersonation and quitting her job in a down and out diner, cleverly called ‘Awful House’. Walking outside the diner, Ke$ha approaches a psychedelic van that gives the singer a shock of electricity as she opens the door and brings her into a world of dancing animals and hair bands. The video features Ke$ha’s home of Nashville and includes some of her favourite locations, including her local grocery store, which she proceeds to destroy in the video. People show love in funny ways.
Check out Ke$ha’s behind the scenes video as well as her full music video for C’Mon.

Ke$ha has released her second video from Warrior with C’Mon, which in true Ke$ha fashion involves lots of glitter, dancing, sexual innuendos and cats. If this isn’t the perfect internet music video then I don’t know what is. The video begins with Ke$ha giving her best Daisy Duke impersonation and quitting her job in a down and out diner. Walking outside the diner, Ke$ha approaches a psychedelic van that gives the singer a shock of electricity as she opens the door and brings her into a world of dancing animals and hair bands.
C’Mon is the follow up to Die Young, Ke$ha’s first single from Warrior, which garnered some negative attention after the tragedy at Sandy Hook. The new video is a much safer choice for a single, keeping a positive and energetic vibe throughout the song.
Check out Ke$ha in her video for C’Mon below and tell us what you think of it in the comments!
