While we love all the songs and their music videos on this list, they all made us scratch our heads and say ‘huh’? Why are those models eating paint? Why is Nicole Scherzinger wasting so much water? Why is Lady Gaga…well, let’s just watch the videos.
10. Nicki Minaj feat. Rihanna, Fly
So the apocalypse hits and Nicki Minaj and Rihanna are the only two people to survive, plus all of Nicki’s awful wigs? Nevermind, I guess it does make sense.
9. The New Cities, The Hype
I guess eating black paint would make anyone go crazy, even models. But why would you eat black paint to start with? This is why fashion shows need more catering.
8. Bruno Mars, The Lazy Song
Bruno’s video for The Lazy Song doesn’t really make sense, but I think that’s the point. What kind of video do you make when you’re sitting about chillin’ in your snuggy? One with monkeys, sunglasses and lots of synchronized dancing in your boxers.
7. Eminem, Space Bound
I feel like there is some Fight Club/Black Swan stuff going on here. Who is the second Eminem? Is that his subconscious? What’s in the glove box? Was Sasha Grey ever really there? Will the real Slim Shady please stand up?
6. Manchester Orchestra, Simple Math
I know that there is a really, really deep storyline behind Manchester Orchestra’s amazing video for Simple Math. I think we’re watching lead singer Andy Hull’s life flash before his eyes during a near-fatal car crash. But I kinda feel like I’m not 100% smart enough to get exactly what’s happening in the video.
5. Lady Gaga, You and I
Where do I start? Mermaid in a tub. Dancing in a barn. Dressed in drag in a cornfield. Piece of metal on chin. Huh, indeed.
4. Nicole Scherzinger, Don’t Hold Your Breath
I loves me some Nichole Scherzinger and while she is easily one of the most beautiful singers in the world, her gorgeous face wasn’t enough of a distraction from this odd video. I assume the video starts with Nicole leaving her ex’s house in his shirt. But then she gets to what looks like an abandoned house. Is this her old apartment? And why is she filling the water up to the top of the sink? Wasteful much? And then there’s a storm in her apartment. This is why we can’t have nice things.
3. Cody Simpson, Not Just You
In the video we see Cody and his girlfriend together and later separated, though it seems like they’re always in the same place at the same time. So maybe the real issue is that they’re separated from their cell phones and can’t BBM each other? Love in 2011 is complicated, y’all.
2. Justin Bieber, Santa Claus Is Coming To Town
The song is a fun rendition of the classic tune and is cool to watch, but what the heck is going on? First off, Santa looks like a 20 year old redhead. Where’s the belly full of jelly and long white ZZ Top beard? And is Justin helping Santa deliver presents or just breaking into kids’ houses without them knowing? Is this supposed to be a movie about Santa or is it the real Santa? I haven’t been this confused since Rudolph was attacked by the Abominable Snowman.
1. Foster The Peope, Call It What You Want
Call it confusing, but we still love this song! Giant gold hands? When don’t these make sense!

Eminem is on his way back after a 5 year “retirement”-Slim Shady has a new album on the way and looks like not much has changed since he has been gone. Always known for making fun of people in his videos, Eminem’s newest video called “we made you” pokes fun at Amy Winehouse, her estranged hubby Blake Fielder-Civil, Lindsay Lohan , Sarah Palin and Jessica Simpson….Not really THAT difficult to make fun of any of those people…but still funny.
