Magic Mike actor Channing Tatum, whose wife Jenna Dewan is pregnant with their first child, admitted he has lazy tendencies and loves to relax on the couch at home in nothing but his boxer shorts. Channing said “I like being in my underwear on the couch. I’m not a morning person and I’m really good at sleeping.”

The 32-year-old actor also likes to wake himself up by cannonballing into his pool from his balcony, adding “Sometimes I don’t even shower, I just jump off our balcony into the pool. Jenna doesn’t worry, she knows who she married. That’s how I wake up in the mornings, just cannon ball into the pool. It’s just one story.”

Channing also revealed a secret talent for massages and says he could have become a professional masseur if acting hadn’t worked out. He said “I could have been a professional. The only class I really liked at school was anatomy.” Excuse me while I go cannonball into a pool of cold water now.

Channing Tatum is “so excited” about becoming a father. The 32-year-old actor’s wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum is expecting the couple’s first child and they can’t wait for the birth next year. A source said “Channing is so excited. He’s been wanting this a long time. They are over the moon about becoming parents.”

Friends also believe the couple will be fantastic parents. The source explained to Us Weekly magazine “They will be outstanding parents. They don’t take anything too seriously. And they’re just each other’s best friends. “Channing will be happy no matter what the baby is. But he’d love to have a little boy to throw the ball around with.”

Channing and Jenna, who met on the set of Step Up in 2006 and married in 2009, announced the actress’ pregnancy earlier this week. The actor’s representative said “Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Channing Tatum are pleased to announce that they are expecting the birth of their first child next year.”

The Magic Mike actor recently revealed he wants a large family, but admitted Jenna may not agree. He said “I’m ready; I think she’s ready. The first number that pops into my head is three, but I just want one to be healthy and then we’ll see where we go after that. It’s really easy for us guys to say, ‘I want like 15 kids’, Jenna will be like, ‘Well you better get another wife!’ ”
