Sarah Michelle Gellar as Buffy
Emmy® Award-winning actress Sarah Michelle Gellar is a veteran of television, theater and the big screen, having worked for nearly 19 of her 24 years. She is best known for playing the title role in the hit series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, for which she received a Golden Globe® nomination in 2001.
In 1997, Gellar starred in I Know What You Did Last Summer and Scream 2. She won a 1998 Blockbuster Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in I Know What You Did Last Summer and was nominated for a 1998 MTV Movie Award for her role in Scream 2. Her theater credits include The Widow Claire at the Old Globe Theatre and Jake’s Women, opposite Matthew Broderick, at Circle in the Square.
Nicholas Brendon as Xander
Nicholas Brendon turned to acting when his aspirations of playing professional baseball were squelched by a serious arm injury. He first appeared on television in a handful of commercials and guest-starring roles including Married With Children and Dave’s World. Feeling slightly disenchanted with Hollywood, he took a personal hiatus to play the “real life” roles of medical student, production assistant, plumber’s assistant, veterinary janitor, food delivery guy, script delivery guy, day care counselor and waiter at approximately 13 different establishments.
During his seventh year in the food and beverage industry, Brendon decided to give acting another try. Soon after, he landed the role of Xander in the hit series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and hung up his apron for good.
Brendon’s feature film credits include Psycho Beach Party and the horror film Pinata, in which he co-stars with his wife, Tressa Di Figlia.
Brendon has also starred in the Los Angeles theater productions of The Further Adventures of Tom Sawyer at Theater West, My Own Private Hollywood at the Black Hole Theater and Out of Gas on Lover’s Leap at the Pasadena Playhouse.
Off-screen, the Los Angeles native enjoys attending Dodger games, camping and spending quality time with friends and family. He also enjoys daydreaming of world travel, writing poetry, philanthropy and watching television programs on the A&E Network.
Alyson Hannigan as Willow
Alyson Hannigan has had a widely varied career, captivating audiences in both television and film.
Hannigan’s feature film credits include Date Movie, American Pie, American Pie 2, American Wedding, My Stepmother is An Alien, Dead Man on Campus and Boys and Girls.
On the small screen, Hannigan starred in the hugely popular drama Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She portrayed Willow Rosenberg, Buffy’s best friend and confidant. She also guest starred on a number of popular television shows, including Picket Fences and Roseanne. Hannigan was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Atlanta.

I love that show I always Hoped there would be a seasean 8 and a season 6 of angel. I have all of the seasons and watch it over n over again, I can’t count how many times I have watched it. I love Angel(David Boreanaz) hes my favourite. I remember the names of every single episode of all seasons of Buffy and the spin-off angel <3 .
What happened to Buffy on April 6th, Jumped from Wicked willow to Sunnydale High Grand Reopening? Kinda missed a couple episodes.
My girls are ticked off bigtime
Buffy the Vampire Slayer has been shown several times but what about Angel? Could you start that series over again please?
Can you please fix the Buffy shows? The image and sound have been breaking up and sometimes even jamming completely for weeks now. Is it playing off a broken tape player?
Never really watched this show until the last couple of years and despite the special effects being terribly outdated (understandably so of course) the show is an endearing demonstration of what a good television show should encompass. With a perfect combination of action, humor, romance and drama it serves to remind us that yes, despite numerous shows that certainly elicit a double take, there are still great minds out there, and creative and original plots can still occur. My hat goes off to the actors and all the directors and crew that have worked so hard to create this series; phenomenol.
On a side note I would like to point out that the vampires are much more realistic even with the out-dated effects then the ever hilarious sparkly alternative of today.
I may be the biggest fan there is I Love Buffy The Vampire Slayer & thank you so much MuchMore for the Saturday Marathons. THANK YOU !
I really enjoy watching the Buffy Series but after the third straight series its about time they find something new to put on their network. Could they not try putting the Angel series on for a change,as I remember it was pretty good and how many other series are out they they could broadcast. Hope they do something as I don’t think I will watch this again
Loved faith
Is the show still on, isnt on here anymore
Buffy is the greatest show ever.
I loved the show ever since I was 5 (My parents aren’t bad people I only used to watch the fights) And actually if some of you fans are still looking for some Buffy stories Joss Whedon wrote a season eight comic book series with some of the old Buffy writers and they’re starting a season 9, The whole gang’s in it (Willow, Xander, Giles, Dawn, Andrew, Spike, Angel..ect(Even Oz!)), but there’s a lot more cursing, and some of the things that they do and say and everything, get a litte raunchy, so reader beware, but it’s good and really interesting, if you’re really into Buffy check it out.
I love this show and although they stopped making it, they would have had a real hard time making season 8 look good and taking it to all the places they wanted to if they had continued to do it as a show. But I’ve just recently started season 8, and while being a little more crazy and expansive then the adventures in this little town that it started out as, it really is good. Basicly, way to go JW, and thank you for keeping it going after all these years…
