Since debuting in 1997, Buffy The Vampire Slayer has become one of television’s most successful breakout hits. This action-packed drama, cleverly laced with comedy and horror, garnered a 2000 Emmy Award nomination in the category of Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series for creator/executive producer Joss Whedon, as well as the Founder’s Award from Viewers for Quality Television. It has been named “one of the ten best shows” on television by Time Magazine, TV Guide, USA Today and Entertainment Weekly.
Emmy Award-winner Sarah Michelle Gellar stars as Buffy, the quick-witted heroine whose duty as the sole vampire slayer of her generation is to protect the world from the undead, who yearns to be normal. Trying to balance her new adult responsibilities with saving the world, Buffy remains cheerful and fierce throughout, even as her hometown of Sunnydale, California sits atop a Hellmouth, a mystical portal where all the demons of the netherworld converge.
In season six Buffy The Vampire Slayer offered an inspired and seismic shift in the direction of the show. Buffy, now a single working woman, struggled to raise her sister by day and battle demons by night. Her friends’ lives took many tumultuous turns. Romances flourished and waned. The Scooby gang grew up. And in one of the most heralded hours on television, the “Buffy” gang put on an all-musical show featuring original music and lyrics written by Whedon.
As the new season begins, the series will take a surprising and typically innovative turn with the reopening of the high school (famously obliterated at the end of the third season). “That represents a lot of what we’re talking about in terms of getting back to the very first mission statement of the show, which was the joy of female power: having it, using it, sharing it,” explains Joss Whedon, the show’s creator and executive producer. This startling development will foretell new challenges and threats, which promise that the battle against evil is far from over.
And so the fight continues…
Buffy The Vampire Slayer stars Sarah Michelle Gellar (Scooby Doo, Cruel Intentions) as Buffy Summers, Nicholas Brendon (Psycho Beach Party) as Xander Harris, Emma Caulfield (Don’t Peek, Beverly Hills, 90210) as Anya, Michelle Trachtenberg (Harriet the Spy) as Dawn Summers, James Marsters (The House on Haunted Hill) as Spike and Alyson Hannigan (American Pie 1 & 2) as Willow Rosenberg. Anthony Stewart Head (VR.5) and D.B. Woodside (More Dogs Than Bones, Romeo Must Die) will appear in the recurring roles of Rupert Giles and Principal Robin Wood, respectively.
The series was created by Academy and Emmy Award-nominee Joss Whedon (Toy Story), who also penned the screenplay for the big-screen Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The executive producers are Joss Whedon, Marti Noxon, Sandy Gallin, Gail Berman, Fran Rubel Kuzui and Kaz Kuzui. Buffy The Vampire Slayer is a production of Mutant Enemy, Inc. and Kuzui Enterprises/Sandollar Television in association with Twentieth Century Fox Television and is distributed by Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution.

Thank you so much for airing this legendary show! Buffy the Vampire Slayer is such an inspiration to me for multiple reasons, and I am extremely grateful/privileged to watch it on Much More!
Please keep playing it and perhaps if its a possibility to air its spin off show, Angel, since season three is currently airing and the spin off show breaks out as season three comes to a close.
So its very soon! That would be a dream come true if that were a reality! Anyway, once again thank you and keep on with the Buffy… and possibly Angel!

thank you for airing this incredible series! I watch every single episode. Since last week, some episodes have been missing, i.e “Grave” (the last one of the Sixth Season), and “Same Time, Same Place ” (third episode of the Seventh Season); but “Help” (fourth of the Seventh Season) was aired two days in a row. Could you please fix it?
