Little Mix take flight with video for Wings
Pop quartet Little Mix are riding high on a wave of success in their native UK, but the girl group have now set their sights on conquering the elusive North American market. After winning the eighth season of X Factor UK in 2011, the four-piece shot to the top of the pop charts across the pond, arming themselves with touring experience and a discography full of hit songs to bring to the US and Canada.
Little Mix have released Wings as their first North American single, an inspiring girl-power anthem complete with a fun music video, free from the over-sexed and under dressed pop stars we’ve come to expect in 2013. A breath of fresh air into the music industry, Little Mix may just be the second coming of girl-power wave started in the 1990s by the Spice Girls.
