I always love talking about local Canadian musicians. When you look at the roster of Canadian talent out there I think we have a lot to be proud of. So you can always be sure to check out MuchMore.ca to see new Canadian artists featured here.
I was asked last week to do a feature on Megan Hamilton. I hadn’t heard of her but I decided to give it a listen. Well she might not be everyone’s cup of tea and she is not the super upbeat pop and dance music that we have going for you every morning on MuchMore but if you like melodic folk/pop and nice relaxing music to work with, or have in the background while you rummage around your house – I suggest giving this album a listen.
This is Megan’s third album with co-producer Mark Vogelsang. The first single is ‘Cat’s Tail Leg’ but my favorite song so far is definitely the ghostly first track: Throw It Down The Drain With Your Morning Coffee Grinds”.
