This Week In Music History

This week in music history 1969 – Jimi Hendrix was arrested at the Toronto International Airport for possession of narcotics and was released on $10,000 bail. Ok, ok…. so we know Jimi liked to get high…… but lets be serious….. the most influential guitar player in the history of music and this week in Chicago, Detroit, New York and Wroclaw, Poland guitar players will all join together to perform Jimi’s “Hey Joe” at the same time to celebrate World Guitar Day. The city of Wroclaw taking it a step further where Deep Purple will perform at the “Thanks Jimi” music festival. I wanna live in a city called Wroclaw.
