Some people will pay big bucks for rock memorabilia; one of Jimi Hendrix’s first strats that he set on fire is valued at half a million bucks. The piano Elton John wrote that Tony Danza song on was sold for $165 000 (hold me closer Tony Danza) and check this out – Courtney love has recently put all of Kurt Cobain’s sweaters and plaid shirts up for auction at Christies with a value estimated at 40 million dollars!!!! For those of you a little more frugal, a poem written by a teenage Bob Dylan when he was still known as little Bobby Zimmerman was just put on the block for about 15 grand and it’s called “Little Buddy” and is a sweet tale about a family dog that gets beat to death for being too friendly with a drunken stranger.
