Ontario vs Ticketmaster
First Bruce Springsteen took the fight to ticketmaster, and now the Ontario government is trying to stop Ticketmaster from reselling tickets for events in the province at higher prices on another website they also own called ticketsnow.
It breaks down like this: Ticketmaster is basically being accused of holding onto face value tickets and then jacking up the price at ticketsnow.com, essentially becoming an online ticket scalper. While Ticketmaster were quick to make good with the boss when he spoke up last month – not so much it seems for the Ontario Government…
