Some things are just recession proof - ya know, like the 25 thousand ‘love hotels’ in Japan, which are visited about 500 million times a year. Love hotels are exactly what you think they are and have names like ‘Hotel For You’ and ‘Asain P-Door’. You can get even get rooms by the hour. The variety is huge - there are mock castles, themes of soft toys and bondage, doctor and nurse dress up and for those who wanna teach someone a lesson who’s been really really bad, there are even classrooms. Book early - there is a 400% occupancy rate, which means each room is, on average, used four times per day. Lets just hope that the cleaning staff doesn’t go on strike.
