Don’t accuse Chubby Wombat Moonalice of the band Moonalice of buying himself into the music industry. Real name Roger McNamee has made his career as a business investor pumping millions into companies like Forbes….. but he is also a wannabe rock star. 10 years ago he used his cash to hire G.E Smith, the former SNL band leader, and one of rock’s most renowned bass players, Jack Cassidy from Jefferson Airplane. AND he has been footing the bill for everything ever since. They also recently became the first band to twittercast: live broadcasts of their gigs thru their Twitter account.
