Some artists resist the allure of big bucks by not letting their music or likeness be attached to advertising, while some are ok with it but have some restrictions like no alcohol or cigarette companies. And then there’s Aerosmith, who are teaming up with a company that produces games for state lotteries to make a line of Aerosmith scratch tickets. So now Aerosmith fans and grandmothers all over the US will have a chance to not only win money but concert tickets, backstage passes, band merch and even the grand prize which seems to be a private concert. Apparently the band will get cash up front for the deal and can earn a bonus based on how many tickets are sold. Hilarious and icky all at the same time.
